Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2014 and take action against the third respondent for infringement of his right to carry on lawful occupation under Articles 19(1)(g) and 21 of the Constitution of India.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by Mr.M.Antony Gomez seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 & 2 to consider his representation dated 17.6.2014 and take action against the third respondent for infringement of his right to carry on lawful occupation under Articles 19(1)(g) and 21 of the Constitution of India.

2. When this Court heard the arguments of the learned counsel for the petitioner for some time, Mr.T.N.Rajagopalan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 & 2, placing on record the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proceedings dated 21.7.2015 issued by the District Collector, Kancheepuram disposing of the very representation dated 17.6.2014, submitted that the grievance of the petitioner has been duly considered, hence, the writ petition should be closed, as the representation is no longer in existence.

3. It is at this point of time, Mr.N.Manokaran, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to challenge the order placed before the Court.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy as per law. No costs.
