ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a prayer directing the first responder to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2025.

2. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Rajesh Vivekananthan, the Deputy Solicitor General of India for the first respondent, in view of the innocuous relief that is prayed for in this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage without notice to the second respondent. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.1/AC/2023/CC-1 dated 09.06.2023 and in order to defend himself in the said case, the CDr particulars that are mentioned in the representation 2/5

has to be preserved so as to enable the petitioner to summon the same in his defence.

3. The learned Deputy Solicitor General of India would submit that the representation will be considered and appropriate action will be taken.

4. In view of thereof, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2025 and order preservation of the relevant call details and the same shall be recorded and stored in the CDR form so as to make available on request by the petitioner or by the investigating agency as the case may be. After preserving if the petitioner needs the same it would be open for the petitioner to summon it through the concerned Court.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
