ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.03.2022 for an alleged offence under Sections 323, 364A, 365, 342, 386, 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.280 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that all the accused persons went to the house of the defacto complainant and posed themselves as police officers and conducted an enquiry. The sons of the defacto complainant were kidnapped and a ransom was demanded and family members were threatened. There are totally 10 accused persons in this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

case and the petitioners are A1 and A3. Only three accused persons have been arrested till now and the other accused persons are till absconding.

3. Heard Mr.G.V.Sridharan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.E.Raj Thilak, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

4. Considering the seriousness of the allegation and also of the fact that 7 accused persons are yet to be apprehended and the investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
