The Inspector of Police, Bargur Police Station, Krishnagiri District, (Crime No.585 of 2020) Prayer: This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to relax the conditions imposed in Crl.OP.No.10936 of 2020 on 23.07.2020 on condition that the petitioner shall stay in Salem and report before the Salem Town Police Station every day at 10.30 a.m. until further orders in Crime No.585 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.10936 of 2020 dated 23.07.2020 to report before the Salem Town Police Station every day at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been initially complying with the conditions regularly and due to Covid-19 he was unable to appear before the respondent and hence, he seeks for relaxation of the condition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would also submit that initially the petitioner has been complying with the the condition.

4. In view of the above submission, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.10936 of 2020 dated 23.07.2020 is Modified. However, the petitioner shall report before the Krishnagiri Town Police Station, Krishnagiri, on every day at 10.30 a.m after lifting of lockdown until further orders and other conditions imposed in Crl.OP.No.10936 of 2020 will remain intact.

5. With the above directions, this criminal original petition is ordered.
