By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal and disposed of by this order.

Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

This writ petition has been filed seeking mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2020 seeking compassionate appointment.

The Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

This Court, considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2020, directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2020 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein. 6.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
