J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) This is an appeal against conviction, preferred by the appellant/sole accused, against the judgment of the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Court, Chennai, in S.C.No.227 of 2010 dated 20.11.2012, convicting the accused under Section 302 of IPC and sentencing him to undergo imprisonment for life and to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default, to undergo Simple Imprisonment for 6 months.

Today, the learned Counsel for the appellant, producing a copy of the death certificate of the appellant would submit that the appellant died on 15.12.2013 and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. The same is recorded. 3.
