PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to modify the conditions (i) that the petitioner should deposit Rs.2,00,000/-, and (ii) that the petitioner should execute a personal bond for Rs.18,00,000/- with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruthuraipoondi, Thiruvarur District, imposed by way of order passed in Crl.M.P.No.626 of 2020 dated 29.07.2020 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Thiruvarur and enable the petitioner to give sureties of local resident with proper proof.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition to modify the conditions (i) that the petitioner should deposit Rs.2,00,000/-, and (ii) that the petitioner should execute a personal bond for Rs.18,00,000/- with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruthuraipoondi, Thiruvarur District, imposed by way of order passed in Crl.M.P.No.626 of 2020 dated 29.07.2020 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Thiruvarur and enable the petitioner to give sureties of local resident with proper proof. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Heard Mr.M.Senthil, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court hereby modifies the said condition i.e., the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- instead of Rs.2,00,000/- to the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruthuraipoondi. It is made clear that excepting the modification in the amount to be deposited, in all other respects the order dated 29.07.2020 in Crl.M.P.No.626 of 2020 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Thiruvarur stands unaltered.
