ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking modification of the conditional order dated 07.11.2025 made in Crl.M.P.No.01/2025 in Crl.A.No.1349/2025 on the file of the learned XVII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, particularly with regard to paragraph No.4(ii), whereby the petitioner was directed to deposit 20% of the compensation amount to the credit of STC.No.1169 of 2024 within a period of 60 days.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is presently undergoing severe financial crisis due to a substantial loss in his business and is also burdened with heavy medical expenses for his family members. Hence, he seeks modification of the said condition.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed earlier. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to deposit 10% of compensation amount to the credit of STC.No.1169 of 2024 within a period of two weeks from the

date of receipt of a copy of this order, and the remaining 10% of compensation within a further period of two weeks thereafter. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
