ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii) (A) NDPS Act, in Crime No.61 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3. This is the third Anticipatory Bail application. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was in illegal possession of 1 Kg and 750 grams of Ganja. Hence, the complaint.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he is ready and willing to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed on him.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is having possession of 1 Kg and 750 grams of Ganja for sale. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the nature of offence committed by the petitioner, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 18/05/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.) High Court, Madras - 600 104.
