Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to remove the encroachments made in Ennamangalam Odai, situated in R.S.Nos.276 and 277 at Ennamangalam Village, Erode District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2022. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the alleged encroachment has been removed on 7 March 2023, by following the procedures as prescribed under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act.

3. In view of the said submission, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive. The writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
