O R D E R

The learned counsel for the High Ways Department submitted that challenging the quantum of compensation passed by the Land Acquisition Authority, the petitioner herein has preferred Arbitration OP.No.186 of 2018 under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act and the same is now pending before the Principal District Court, Villupuram. 2.The learned counsel further submitted that inasmuch as the solatium and interest payable are proportionate to the amount to be quantified, the petitioner may approach the concerned District Court. ** The said statement is recorded and now the petitioner is directed to raise the issue in Arbitration O.P.No.186 of 2018, without reference to limitation. In the result, the contempt petition is closed. Consequently, the connected sub-application is allowed.
