This writ petition was filed for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 17.03.2023 and to take a decision.

When the matter came up for hearing on 27.04.2023, this Court passed the following order :- Mr.D.B.R.Prabhu, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for respondents 1 and 3.
2. Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for second respondent.
3. It is seen from records that the petitioner trust was called for a meeting through notice dated 16.03.2023
and the representatives of the petitioner trust had attended the meeting. The apprehension of the petitioner is that an attempt is being made to demolish the entire temple.
4. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for Greater Chennai Corporation shall take instructions and report before this Court as to the final decision taken after the meeting. Post this writ petition on 06.06.2023 under the caption 'for orders'.

When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of Chennai Corporation submitted that the meetings were held and ultimately, in the meeting that was held on 01.06.2023, an understanding was arrived at and the petitioner will proceed further in accordance with the understanding reached with Chennai Corporation.

Recording the above submission, this Writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
