ORDER

The petitioners apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 351(3) of BNS, in Crime No.722 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners abused the de facto complainant in filthy language, assaulted him and his mother, and threatened them with dire consequences. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners had already obtained anticipatory bail from the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kallakurichi, in Crl.M.P.No.325 of 2026, vide order dated 05.03.2026, wherein the Court granted them time to surrender within a period of two weeks. However, they were not in a position to surrender within the stipulated time. Hence, he prayed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. In such circumstances, the petitioners are directed to move an appropriate application for extension of time.

5. With the above direction, the present petition is disposed of. If any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of in accordance with law and on its own merits, without being influenced by any of the observations made in this order.
