The present petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 25.08.2015.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint on 25.08.2015 as against one Shanmugam on the allegation of land grabbing. Since the said complaint has not been registered so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner has been closed by the respondent after obtaining a report from the Tahsildasr. The Additional Public Prosecutor has also produced a copy of the closure report for the perusal of the Court.

4. Since the complaint has already been closed, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed.
