Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2018 and contest the election with as per the observation of the government official and received an application from all interested candidate and contest the election in accordance with law.

O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2018 and receive application from all interested candidates and contest the Election as per the observation of the Government Officials in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has given a representation dated 20.08.2018 stating that the Election proposed to be conducted on 25.08.2018, should be conducted in an appropriate manner and the entire proceedings of Election should be videographed.

3. The present Writ Petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.08.2018. Since the representation in respect of the Election which was proposed on 25.08.2018, no further action is now required on the said representation of the petitioner, dated 20.08.2018. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the Election that was proposed to be conducted on 25.08.2018, was not conducted and that it was postponed. If that is true, it is open for the petitioner to make fresh representation, and if fresh representation is made, the respondents shall consider the same in accordance with law. No costs.
