This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 1250 days in filing the Review Application SR.No.52563 of 2021 to review the order passed in W.P.No.25770 of 2003 dated 14.12.2017.

2. Though some reasons have been given including administrative reasons on behalf of the petitioner for filing this review application with a huge delay of 1250 days, the said reasoning has been opposed by filing a counter affidavit by the learned counsel for the respondent, who was the petitioner in the writ petition.

3. Having considered the said reasoning stated as well as the averments in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition as well as the counter affidavit filed by the petitioner and after hearing Mr.Silambanan, learned Additional Advocate General for the petitioner and Mr.Balan Haridas, learned counsel for the respondent, I am of the view that this petition, in the interest of justice, can be ordered of course on terms, in view of the huge delay that has occurred in filing the review application.

4. Accordingly, this petition is ordered on condition that the petitioner in this petition shall pay a sum of Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the respondent directly to the 1 / 2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
