Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to restore the Employment Exchange Registration No.DRD2001F00000802 of the petitioner giving due seniority and to sponsor the name of the petitioner for suitable post as per her original seniority. The petitioner finished graduation during the year 2001 and got her name registered with the District Employment Exchange. She was allotted with Registration No.DRD2001F00000802.

2. According to the petitioner, though she attended the interview conducted by Public Health and Preventive Medicine on 19.08.2010, she was not selected and again, she attended the interview on 16.10.2012, but she was not selected.

3. While so, when the petitioner went to renew her registration during January 2015, she was not able to renew her registration. She was informed that her Registration Number was struck off as she was given appointment in the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.

4. The petitioner made a representation, dated 16.07.2015 to the respondent explaining that she was not appointed in the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and therefore, to renew her registration restoring her seniority.

5. Since no order is passed, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.

6. In view of the narrow prayer made during the hearing, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.07.2015, relating to renewal of registration and to sponsor her name for suitable post as per original seniority, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks. No costs.
