Respondents Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to provide information on the petitioner's RTI application dated 03.07.2014 as per the order No.32490/F/2014 dated 27.01.2015 passed by the 1st respondent and subsequently direct the 1st respondent to take action against the 3rd respondent under section 20 of the Right to Information Act, 2005, within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. Aggrieved over the non-furnishing of information by the 3rd respondent with regard to the affairs of the second respondent, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 5.3.2015 to the first respondent and since he has not favoured with any response, he came forward with this writ petition.
3. Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Niranjan Rajagopalan, learned counsel appearing for M/s. G.R.Associates, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.M.Digvijaya Pandian , learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the second and third respondents.
4. This Court, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner in this writ petition, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 5.3.2015 in accordance with law after putting on notice to the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
