ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to to the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Dharmapuri for speedy disposal of the case in Crl.M.P.No. 7402 of 2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner filed a complaint under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dharmapuri. This petition is pending without any order from the date of presentation ie., on 12.09.2023. As per the case status report, for recording the sworn statement, the case was adjourned to 08.12.2022, 22.12.2022, 13.10.2022, 03.11.2022 and 24.12.2022 without passing any orders.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner produced the copy of the sworn statement recorded on 22.12.2022. In the said circumstances, it is not known, as to why the case has to be adjourned from 05.01.2023 to 28.03.2023.

4. In the circumstances stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Magistrate No.II, Dharmapuri is directed to complete the enquiry and dispose the Crl.M.P.No. 7402 of 2022 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5. With the above observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
