ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the Special and Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Salem to expedite the trial of C.C.No.19 of 2004.

2. It is averred in the petition that the petitioner has been arrayed as 16th accused in C.C.No.19 of 2004, wherein, some prosecution witnesses have been examined and due to filing of Criminal Original Petition No.6515 of 2012, continuation of trial in C.C.No.19 of 2004 has been stalled. Under such circumstances present petition has been filed.

3. Considering the nature of relief sought for in the present petition and also the stage of C.C.No.19 of 2004, this Court is of the view to give the following direction:
