Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the first respondent to transfer the case/complaint dated 19.07.2018 lodged by the petitioner on the file of the 4th respondent, pending on the file of the 4th respondent, Inspector of Police, Kullanchavadi Police Station, Cuddalore District, to the second respondent to investigate the matter and file a final report in accordance with law.

This petition has been filed seeking for transfer of the complaint dated 19.07.2018 that was lodged by the petitioner before the 4th respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though the complaint makes out a cognizable offence and involves public interest, the respondent police have not registered an FIR till date and therefore, the petitioner is seeking for relief of transfer of complaint to some other agency. 3.

Heard the submission of the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to order any transfer at this stage. This Criminal Original petition is disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent to take action on the complaint given by the petitioner within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and proceed further with the investigation in accordance with law.
