O R D E R

(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8 (c) & 20 (b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act in Crime No.165 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner and other accused persons were found in possession of 1.200 Kgs of Ganja illegally. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that co-accused A1 and A2 were arrested and released on bail. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner was found in possession of 1.200 Kgs of Ganja illegally. He further submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as A3 and he is history sheeter from the year 2018 and having 7 previous cases of similar nature which are all pending against him. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking note of the fact and there is no change of circumstance and having seven previous cases of similar nature pending against him, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and hence, this petition stands dismissed. 19.07.2021 rri
