ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 10.04.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences under Sections 454 and 380 of IPC, in Cr.No.212 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. This is the second bail application before this Court. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had stolen 10 sovereign of jewels and cash totally worth about of Rs.1,50,000/- from the defacto complainant's house. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offence and she has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has been in jail from 10.04.2021. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner had stolen 10 sovereign of jewels and cash totally worth about of Rs.1,50,000/- from the defacto complainant's house. He further submits that there are 13 previous https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
cases pending against the petitioner and further submits that all cases are similar in nature. He further submits that the investigation has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed in C.C.No.23 of 2021 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.
5.Considering the fact that there are 13 previous cases pending against the petitioner and the charge sheet has also been filed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
