This application has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 589 days in filing the written statement.

The reason given in the affidavit to condone the delay is that the suit had been filed for specific performance. It has been stated that the plaintiff had misused the documents executed in blank. It had been stated that during the year 2015, the office was damaged because of rain. Thereafter, there was a delay in filing the written statement.

In view of the fact that pleadings are necessary for determining the issues between the parties, this application is allowed and the delay is condoned. The written statement is taken on record.
