Mr.K.Hasin, Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry), takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 14.12.2016, wherein and whereby, he sought for renewal of Stage Carriage Permit in respect of the vehicle No.TN-32/C-2301. Whether the petitioner is entitled to such relief or not is for the respondent to consider and decide. Therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner.
