Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2020 and include the Petitioner`s name in the ensuing election for the Muthavalli member of the Wakf Board for 2020-21 as Muthavalli of Quaid-e-Millath Jumma Majid & Madrasa Wakf, No.71, Thayer Sahib Street, Chennai - 600002. This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2020 and include his name in the ensuing election for the Muthavalli of the Quaid-e-Millath Jumma Majid & Madrasa Wakf, at No.71, Thayer Sahib Street, Chennai - 600002.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned Special Government Pleader that the first respondent is conducting enquiry in respect of the similar relief filed by the other writ petitioner today at 4.00 p.m. since the election is scheduled tomorrow.

4. Therefore, in this case also, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2020 by conducting enquiry today and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. The learned Special Government Pleader is directed to inform the respondents about the order passed by this Court. The petitioner shall approach the first respondent with necessary documents.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
