This Criminal Original Petition has filed to quash the First Information Report registered in Crime No.295 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent for the offences under sections 294 [b], 506[2] of IPC and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

2. When the matter is taken up today the learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side] appearing for the first respondent submitted that charge sheet has already been filed before the Mahila Court Krishnagiri and the same is yet to be taken on file.

3. In such view of the matter, quashing of the First Information Report does not arise.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side], this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 07.07.2022 vrc
