ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property more fully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition, based on the petitioner's representations dated 21.04.2024 and 09.03.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner claims that he has been in possession and enjoyment of the property more fully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition for several years and that he is entitled to the issuance of patta in his name for the subject property, which is classified as "Arasu Poramboke." The petitioner submitted representations dated 21.04.2024 and 09.03.2026 seeking for grant of patta. Since the said representations have not been considered till date, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court. 3.

Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

No prejudice would be caused to any of the respondents, if the petitioner's representations as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.

This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representations.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representations dated 21.04.2024 and 09.03.2026 seeking for grant of patta for the properties more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of all necessary parties, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
