By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to pass an order based on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.01.2018.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.Srinivasan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Sampath, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.In view of the limited prayer now sought for by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the authorities / respondents 1 & 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.01.2018, on merits and pass appropriate orders, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say that if any adverse order is passed, it is open to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently connected MP is closed.
