Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to (i) To suspend the sentence in S.C.No.221/2015 on the file of III Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, Order dated 28.04.2022 enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the main Crl.A.No.512 of 2022.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. G. KRISHNAMURTHY, Advocate for the petitioner, and of PUBLIC PROSECUTOR, on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking for to suspend the sentence imposed by the Court below convicting the petitioner for offence under Section 279 of IPC and sentencing to undergo 6 months simple imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.1000/- and in default to undergo one month simple imprisonment, and further convicted the petitioner under Section 304A of IPC, sentencing him to undergo one year simple imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.1000/- and in default to undergo one month simple imprisonment.
2. The Court below has already suspended the sentence till 28.05.2022 to enable the petitioner to file the Criminal appeal, and the fine amount has already been deposited.

3. Taking into consideration the materials available on record and the grounds raised by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to suspend the substantive sentence imposed against the petitioner subject to the following conditions.
(a)The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) along with two sureties each for a like sum, and (b)The petitioner shall appear before the learned III Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, on the first working day of every month at 10.30 A.M., until further orders.
3. This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of accordingly.
