ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to survey and fix the boundary stones for the land comprised in Survey No.71[2], 72/7, 72/8 to an extent of 0.64 cents at Vadamambakkam Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Ranipet District forthwith.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the fourth respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given an application dated 26.09.2023 to survey his land and fix the boundary stones, the respondents have not taken any action to survey her land. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 26.09.2023 on merits after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
