Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pass final orders for selection to the post of Cook in pursuant to the notification dated 06.09.2020 issued by the second respondent, based on the selection conducted and concluded in the month of November 2020, in pursuant to the communication issued by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.33464 / 2015 / BC-8 dated 13.05.2021 based on the Representation submitted by the petitioners dated 10.05.2021 and 03.05.2021 respectively by considering the petitioners for selection to the post of Cook on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states

that the representations of the petitioners were responded to by the third respondent by his communication dated 13.05.2021. He further submits that the respondents may take appropriate action after taking a decision with regard to selection of appointment for the post of Cook based on the interview that was held on 25.11.2020 and 26.11.2020.

3. Having regard to submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners. Accordingly, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioners representations dated 10.05.2021 and 03.05.2021 respectively, and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, and take appropriate action after completing the process of selection as expressed by the respondents in their communication dated 13.05.2021, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is ordered.
