O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal in Appeal No.*13 of 2017 dated 15.12.2016 within a time frame.

2.Mr.N.C.Ashok Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has filed the appeal as early as on 15.12.2016, the same has not yet been disposed of by the 1st respondent.

3.Mr.M. Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE) taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, within four months in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal in Appeal No. *13/2017 dated 15.12.2016, on merits in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
