Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioners representation dated 20.03.2023 and to take action against the decision of the Village Panchayat of excommunication of the petitioner's family from the Kanarapettai Village. The petition has been filed to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2023 and to take action against the decision of the Village Panchayat of excommunication of the petitioner's family from the Kanarapettai Village.

2. The representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20.03.2023 cannot be considered after a period of two years without knowing the present status of the petitioner. If the same status continues, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent within a period of two years, from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the 2/5

3rd respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the counterparty, conduct enquiry after giving opportunity and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks thereafter.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 14.02.2025 Index : Yes/No.
