This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.230 of 2014 and to file the final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.230 of 2014 has been registered for the offences under Sections 457 and 380 IPC against unknown accused.

4. Since the accused is not known, it is not desirable to give a direction to the Police to complete the investigation within a specified time period. Hence, it would suffice if general direction is issued to the respondent-Police to complete https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the investigation expeditiously.

In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
