This petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, R1 Mambalam Police Station, T.Nagar, Chennai, to initiate further action on the basis of the F.I.R and file the final report in Crime No.74 of 2013 within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against one Krishnan, Maruthammal and Thiagarajan for the alleged offence under sections 406 and 420 IPC. Though a complaint was lodged as early as in 2013, till date the final report has not been filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the factual aspect of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the Inspector of Police, (Crime), R1 Mambalam Police Station, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

T.Nagar, Chennai, to complete the investigation and file a final report as early as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
