Respondents Prayer: This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct an enquiry for grant of patta to the property located at Sy.No.142 of Kadaladi Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct an enquiry for grant of patta to the property located at Sy.No.142 of Kadaladi Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. Heard the arguments of both sides.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, since the writ petition is pending for more than 14 years, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation regarding the prayer sought for in this writ petition to the first Respondent/the District Collector, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Thiruvannamalai District, Thiruvannamalai within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and on receipt of the same, the first respondent/District Collector, Thiruvannamalai is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and take suitable action in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.

4. In the result, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
