ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to entertain the sale deed executed by the petitioner on 12.03.2025 and to register the same within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.G.Sankaran, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Karthick Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for respondents. 3.In the considered view of this Court, the 2nd respondent cannot keep the sale deed as a pending document endlessly. Either the sale deed has to be registered, if it is otherwise in order or if it is refused to be registered, a refusal check slip should be issued to the petitioner. Hence, a decision shall be taken in this regard within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
