This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2025 and remove the anomaly in the fixation of pay and re-fix the revised pay from 11.04.2008

after allowing 06 advance increment in the new pay of TNRPSR 2009 in terms of the G.O.Ms.No 240, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 22.07.2013.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2025 and remove the anomaly in the fixation of pay and re-fix the revised pay from 11.04.2008 after allowing 06 advance increment in the new pay of TNRPSR 2009 in terms of the G.O.Ms.No 240, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 22.07.2013."

2. The petitioner was appointed as an Assistant Director of Ex Servicemen Welfare, Tanjavur with effect from 11.04.2008. The petitioner's basic pay was fixed at entry level in the pre revised scale of Rs.8000/- by order of the Director of Ex-Servicemen's Welfare dated

03.10.2007. The petitioner would submit that there is anomaly in pay fixation and therefore he made a representation to the respondents. Since there is no response, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2025 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
