The Administrator General and Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu (AG & OT) has filed the instant application seeking permission to utilise a sum of Rs.10,000/- out of the net income of the financial year 2021-2022 of the trust estate of T.Venkatasubramaniam, to award scholarship to one G.Gobinath, who is pursuing B.E. course in Agni College of Technology in Thalambur, Chennai.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned AG & OT filed his detailed report dated 18.04.2023. 3.

According to Mr. M. Jagadeesan, learned Additional Deputy AG & OT, the trust estate of T. Venkatasubramaniam is being administered by the office of the AG & OT; the will of T.Venkatasubramaniam contemplates providing scholarships to students pursuing technical education; hence, applications were invited for award of scholarship for the year 2021-2022 vide advertisement in Dina Malar on 02.10.2022 and 06.11.2022; pursuant to the said advertisements, 116 candidates submitted their applications for scholarship, out of whom, one candidate by name G.Gobinath is found eligible; hence, permission may be granted as sought in the application.
