Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the properties situated in Survey Nos.425/2, 426/2, 426/3, 426/4, 472/2, 472/6, 472/8, 472/5, 472/3, 472/4, 473/1, 473/3, 473/5, 473/6, 473/8, 473/9, 473/10, 473/12, 474/1, 474/3, 474/8, 474/10, 475/1 and 475/2 totally measuring an extent of acres 3.73 1/4 cents, situated at Rakkiapapalayam Village, Avinashi Taluk, Tiruppur District, based on his application dated 30.03.2019.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said application has not been considered by the respondent so far.

5. Therefore, this Court at this stage is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 30.03.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
