ORDER

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to make necessary correction of the petitioners date of birth as 16.08.2000 instead of 16.06.2002 found place in his school transfer certificate issued by the respondents 6 and 7 and issue fresh transfer certificate to the petitioner immediately by considering his representation dated 13.02.2026

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was born on 16.08.2000 and is registered before the Tambaram City Municipal Corporation. It is the grievance of the petitioner that in his school records, date of birth is given as as 16.06.2002 instead of 16.08.2000 and the same is reflected in the Transfer Certificate, hence, the petitioner seeks for correction. In this regard, the petitioner had sent a representation on 13.02.2026, however, the same is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without

going into the merits of the case directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
