Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to extend the benefits of G.O.Ms.No.142, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (T.P.I.) Department, dated 23.09.2015 to the petitioner and regularize the petitioner's service from the date of completion of 3 years of service for the purpose of pension and grant pension to the petitioner w.e.f. 01.07.2018.

O R D E R This writ petition is filed for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to extend the benefits of G.O.Ms.No.142, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (T.P.I.) Department, dated 23.09.2015 to the petitioner and regularize the petitioner's service from the date of completion of 3 years of service for the purpose of pension and grant pension to the petitioner w.e.f. 01.07.2018.

2. Though the prayer sought in this writ petition is to issue a direction to the respondents to extend the benefits of G.O.Ms.No.142 Municipal Administration and Water Supply (T.P.I.) Department, to the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2020, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.142, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (T.P.I.) Department, dated 23.09.2015.

3. Having regard to the limited scope of prayer that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation or the case pleaded before this Court, this Courts directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 15.10.2020, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.142, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (T.P.I.) Department, dated 23.09.2015, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the order to the petitioner. It is made clear that scope of G.O. or its applicability to petitioner is not gone into in this writ.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
