O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner and her family members on the pretext of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that, there are some complaint of cheating against M.Jagadeesan, who is the son of the petitioner. In this regard, M.Jagadeesan approached this Court in Crl.OP.No.20018 of 2014 for anticipatory bail and this Court has granted anticipatory bail by order dated 05.08.2014 with a direction to the said Jagadeesan to appear before the respondent police, every Monday and Friday at 10.30 am for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

three weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, the petitioner's son has not been complying with the condition and therefore, the police had summoned the petitioner for enquiry and that, the petitioner came to the Police Station and agreed to produce her son.

5. The fact remains that the petitioner's son Jagadeesan has been released on anticipatory bail. If he had not complied with the condition, it is open to the police to cancel the anticipatory bail and proceed against him, in accordance with law. Without resorting to this procedure, the police should not unnecessarily harass the petitioner, for the sin of her son.
