ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner pursuant to the application submitted by the petitioner on 06.01.2024. 2.When the writ petition came up for hearing on 17.04.2025, this Court passed the following order:
The specific case of the petitioner is that her husband is the owner of the property and he is alive, whereas the petitioner has submitted an application during the grievance day and is seeking for patta in her name.
2. In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, there is no proper explanation as to how the petitioner is seeking for patta in her name when her admitted case is that the property was purchased by her husband.
Post this writ petition at the end of the Motion List on 24.04.2025.
3.The writ petition was thereafter listed for hearing on 24.04.2025 and the following order was passed by this Court.

Pursuant to the earlier order passed by this Court on 17.04.2025, the matter was listed for hearing today. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had applied for patta in her name since preference is given to women and that the petitioner has no objection if the patta is issued in the name of her husband.
2. Post this case for hearing on 29.04.2025 at the end of the motion list.
4.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner, will be considered by the 1st respondent in line with G.O.Ms.No.97 dated 27.02.2025.
5.In the light of the above development, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the 1st respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of the order . On receipt of the same, the 1st respondent shall deal with the representation and pass orders strictly in line with G.O.Ms.No.97 dated 27.02.2025 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the representation from the petitioner. 3 / 4
