ORDER

The petitioner seeks transfer of HMOP No.385 of 2026 from the file of Special Judge for Family Court, Madurai to the Family Court, Chennai.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is living with 11 months child and she is residing with her parents at Chennai and therefore, she finds it difficult to travel to Madurai from Chennai to attend the Court proceedings, initiated by the respondent/husband from Chennai ,which is approximately 443 kilometers and therefore seeks for transfer.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that the reason assigned by the petitioner is justifiable and therefore, this Court is inclined to transfer HMOP No.385 of 2026 from the file of Special Judge, Family Court, Madurai to Family Court, Chennai.

4. Accordingly, Tr.C.M.P.No.321 of 2026 is allowed and the proceedings in HMOP No.385 of 2026 is withdrawn from the file of Special Judge for Family Court, Madurai and the same is transferred to Family Court, Chennai. 2/4

5. The Family Court, Madurai is directed to send the entire records relating to HMOP No.385 of 2026 to Family Court, Chennai forthwith.
