Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the State wide seniority list in the light of G.O.Ms.No.202, Environment & Forest Department, dated 18.12.2013 so as to enable the petitioner to get his service regularized in the time scale of pay as plot watcher (Supernumerary) within a stipulated period.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the State wide seniority list in the light of G.O.Ms.No.202, Environment & Forest Department, dated 18.12.2013 so as to enable the petitioner to get his service regularized in the time scale of pay as plot watcher (Supernumerary).
2. The petitioner is appointed in the Forest Department in Kelamangalam Range (MSCC) in the year 1980 as Plot Watcher in Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri District. Though his juniors were posted as Anti Poach Watcher from 1.10.2013, his name was neither included in the State wide seniority list based on G.O.Ms.No.202, Environment & Forest Department, dated 18.12.2013 nor posted as Anti Poach Watcher. A representation dated 16.10.2014 was submitted by the petitioner under registered post in this regard. However, no orders have been passed on the said representation. Hence, the petitioner came forward with the present writ petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. Though the petitioner has sought for a larger prayer, considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
