O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from interfering with the petitioner carrying out the renovation work in the farm shed and to allow the petitioner to carry water for agricultural

activities and for the purpose of renovation of the farm shed.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is having lands at Anamalai Hills. He also has farm shed. The further case of the petitioner is that the farm shed get totally damaged and therefore, he had to carryout the renovation work. That apart, the irrigation for agricultural activities can be done only by carrying water through lorries.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is being restrained from carrying water and doing renovation work. The petitioner has given a representation in this regard on 13.04.2019. Since there was no action, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

4. Heard Mr. A.V. Arun, learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.04.2019, on its own merits and in accordance with law and appropriate orders shall be passed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 13.04.2019 and a copy of this order.

6.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
