The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-TANGEDCO furnished the copy of the letter sent by the petitioner to the Executive Engineer of Tamil Nadu Electricity https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Board stating that the petitioner has accepted the compensation granted by the Electricity Board Authorities and further said that he is withdrawing the present writ petition.
2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-TANGEDCO further furnished a copy of the hand receipt signed by the petitioner and it is contended that a sum of Rs.80,600/- has been settled as compensation.
3. This being the factum, the grievances of the petitioner have been redressed and consequently, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
