Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to provide a copy of the order dated 06.03.2003 in Ref.No.111693/C6/C24/01 to the petitioner, passed by the second respondent.

O R D E R

The prayer in this writ petition is for a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to provide a copy of the order dated 06.03.2003 in Ref.No.111693/C6/C24/01 to the

petitioner, passed by the second respondent.

2. The petitioner has come out with this present writ petition with an innocuous prayer, by which the petitioner seeks a direction to the third respondent to give a copy of the order passed by the second respondent in Ref.No.111693/C6/C24/01 dated 06.03.2003, in and by which the request of the petitioner for change of Date of Birth has been rejected by the second respondent and the same has been shown in the reference of the letter of the fourth respondent dated 05.12.2003.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The second respondent has rejected the request of the petitioner by order dated 06.03.2003 and the same has been shown in the reference of the order dated 5.12.2003. There is no communication from the third respondent to the petitioner informing that the request of the petitioner for change of Date of Birth was rejected by the second respondent, the copy of the said order dated 06.03.2003, passed by the second respondent has not been given to the petitioner, since the third respondent failed to do so, except merely passing a communication on 05.12.2003, the petitioner has come out with this present writ petition.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to give a direction to the respondents 2 to 4, to supply the copy of the order passed by the second respondent in Ref.No.111693/C6/C24/01 dated 06.03.2006 to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

6. With these above directions the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
